Still at Palm Springs after our epic Coachella Music Festival weekend. Jon came to pick Kris up yesterday and take him home after we had dinner in downtown Palm Springs. Rosa, Niner and I spent a few hours up the PS Aerial Tram Way to Mount San Jacinto Park today. It was beautiful up there and the cool air was the perfect escape from this desert heat. We took a few designated trails and saw different trees, colorful birds and even ran into some snow. The three of us are now back at the hotel reading our books at the patio. At the Coachella Music Valley Festival and Radiohead just finished their 1hr and 50 min set with two encores. It was friggin amazing! We're going to be at Palm Springs for the rest of the week! I'm sure I'll find time to share more pics. :) - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

Today was a perfect day! Niner and I have been wanting to check out Inn of the Seventh Ray in Topanga. We finally went for a special Easter Brunch today and it was lovely. We had a great view of the creek, the weather was perfect and the food was delicious. Then I was able to catch up with my family in Glendale and spend a bit of time with them. And I met up with Niner and Moo to visit Nan. It was a balanced day spent with the special people in our lives. I truly am blessed! <3 - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

We had an impromptu band reunion on Wednesday. Alberto came to visit for the week and wanted to see everyone. He sure made that happen! We met up at a little dive bar in North Hollywood, Tonga Hut Tiki Lounge. It was the perfect place for us to catch up; some of us hadn't seen each other for over 10 years! To celebrate the end of another long stretch at work, Niner and I had a lovely seafood dinner at Gladstones in Malibu and then dessert at Grom Gelateria. There's so much to be thankful for and so much to look forward to. We're so blessed to have what we have. Last night, though a simple night out, was a reminder of that.
