Niner took me to Ojai overnight for my birthday. We had no idea how close it was and what a nice little get-a-way! We stayed at The Rancho Inn with its cabin-like rooms and relaxing jacuzzi. We checked out the farmers market where Niner got me my favorite bouquet of flowers. We shared a bottle of Victoria at lake Casitas which was pretty despite the drought. Sadly, since the pool at the Rancho, with teepee and all, was shut down, we hung out at the sister hotel's pool at the Capri. We had a delicious dinner at Azu that evening and roamed around downtown Ojai. The next day we biked the long trail behind the hotel that stretched out for most of the town. We then managed to head back to the pool for a bit then had brunch at Suzanne's. They had a lovely rose garden at their back patio. So exciting to have such a nice little trip so close to home.
