Ryan and Cheryl Pre-Wedding

The past few days have been all about Ryan and Cheryl as we all prepare for their big day. On Thursday night we celebrated at the Rooftop Bar at The Standard DTLA. Ryan's cousins and friends from all over met Cheryl's friends and family from Hawaii. We had a great time and celebrated with the perfect LA backdrop on a perfect LA night. Last night we had the rehearsal and diner at C&O in Marina Del Rey. The Tropical Trio. :) (added later) And today.. in just a few hours, one of my best friends marries the love of his life. Here is the view from their suite at the beautiful Shutters.  This is gonna be a great night! - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

Week 38

Jessica is officially moving to Utah. After months of planning, Jessica found a place to start her new life. She had a last minute get together at Bar One in. North Hollywood. Glad that Mar and I were able to see her off. We also got to hang out with the band buddies for a bit. Good luck Jessica! - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

Week 37

It's been a fun week of celebrations. On Thursday, caught up with The Berries and exchanged birthday gifts with Cheryl (hers was way back in July!) Jen's birthday was only two days before mine and we had some interesting gourmet hot dogs at Wurstküche in Venice and went bowling with our vending machine mustaches on Friday. :) Just yesterday, 6 days before the big day, we attended Cheryl and Ryan's wedding shower thrown by her family. My favorite celebration was my last minute birthday dinner. I hadn't wanted to do much for my birthday this year. It's just been too busy and I don't feel quite settled back since the vacation yet. I haven't even unpacked! But I'm so glad I was able to celebrate another beautiful year with my friends and family. We had dinner at The Eclectic in North Hollywood. The food there was delicious and I had my favorite Mascato. Then we finished off the night at Big Wangs. The evening managed to be perfect despite my full, busy d

Disneyland Marathon

Ran my second runDisney with Karen on September 2nd. I'm so lucky to have gotten my coworker Eric to work for me. I was able to get my registration material at the expo and stay a couple nights in town, making it a 3-day Disney Labor Day weekend. The run started by the Disney Hotel, through California Adventure as the sun crept out, and in Disneyland where we stopped to take pictures with our favorite characters. The rest of the time we were on the streets greeted by locals along with Orange County schools marching bands and cheer squads. There were even cute little kids doing the hula for us. It was a fun run and I was quite proud of my endurance considering how little I've trained. I think its time to push myself a bit harder.. - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone
