Two Years

As I sit here and wait to finally head to LAX for a much awaited, much needed mini, tropical vacation, I reminisce about the past two years. Two years. Time always seems to fly so quickly by when you most want it to move in slow motion, so better to cherish every moment.

It seemed only yesterday that we made our vows, promising to be there for one another no matter the situation.



This past weekend we celebrated our two-year anniversary by staying overnight at the fancy Hyatt in Orange County. We watched a play, Becky Shaw, and spent a day in Disneyland and California Adventure. What more fitting to celebrate a magical day that joined two people in love than to spend it at the happiest, most magical place on earth. :)






Now our next adventure... Mazatlan!!

Spring Training

My little family went on vacation this past weekend. Nacho visited his friends at Petsmart and Niner and I went to our third Spring Training in Phoenix. Our first game on Saturday was against the Indians at Goodyear Ballpark. There was a lot of action near the end when the Indians caught up and tied the game. There was a Mister Softee soft serve truck and Niner tried a Guinness Blondie at the beer cart. That is a nice ballpark and we had a cute time. I even got Ethier's autograph on our Cactus League ball.    We had time for a nice hike and dinner after the game. Niner introduced me to Native American fry bread which was delicious. Sunday we started off with a nice brunch at Province downtown. The game was at the Dodgers' (and white Sox) Camelback Ranch. It was a hot, sunny day, but fun nevertheless. Sometimes when you have too many options, it becomes difficult to make decisions (at least that's how it works with me). We chose this place because of the amount of reviews on Yelp.. and it was only A-OK. However, that may be our fault for ordering the "plainer" option. The grand size of "Taquise" seemed like the perfect choice for us. It was topped with tomatoes, guacamole, and sour cream. We probably should have ordered something with lots of meat and gravy, something packed with flavor. But then, I can also argue that anything with guacamole should be amazing.
