Oahu has been the perfect mix of adventure on land and in the water, and has kept us gastronomically satisfied at every turn. This is our last night and we're going to spend it relaxing at the hotel pool/ jacuzzi, especially after a long day site seeing around the island. I can't wait to post pictures from the trip! @Pali look-out on the south-east part of the island.

We had our zip lining adventure at the northern part of the island in Princeville which was about 25 miles (40 minutes) from our hotel in Kapa'a. The views on the way to Princeville and the eastern part of the island were amazing. Most of what we saw was either the green of the trees and mountains or the rich blue of the ocean and the clear sky. It was the Berries' first time zip lining and Cheryl is a bit scared of heights, but we all had a great time. The views were perfect and it was refreshing to zip across the trees and canyons. Our guides Drew, Janet, and Sherri were also pretty great and made the experience fun. More pictures to come! :)

We spent six whole days at Sin City to ring in 2011.. and let me tell you, we had a great time! We were able to spend time with friends, family, gambled a little, go on an adventure, hear some good music, and ate A LOT! Nacho cried, he protested, and he even made a desperate attempt to convince me to take him a long. But the trip commenced..  We stayed at Bally's so we did most of our gambling there and at the connected Paris casino where this pic was taken. Notice the cloudy, blue sky behind Niner and Shkrinty.  Shalanna with a delicious burger from Kerry's Gourmet Burgers at Harrah's. We had our fancy NYE dinner at Fix in the Bellagio. That place was so goood. Four out of six of us ordered the filet mignon. It melted in my mouth it was so tender. The Berries looking chic and Shalanna with long time friend Eugene.
