Mr. Berry's 29th

At the end of September, our favorite Mr. B celebrated his 29th birthday with his favorite people at Yankee Doodles in Santa Monica. There were SpongeBob party hats, colorful twisty straws, and his tasty tres leches cake. Friends, most inebriated, showed their skill at a game of pool, tore up the foosball table, and the boys tested their muscle at the boxing punching bag. Sorry to say, Mr. B failed to display any sort of strength in his intoxicated state, but it was all fun and and games.

Happy 29th Birthday!

Cheers to another of Ryan's successful birthday celebrations. I'm sure next year will be even more memorable.

Spring Training

My little family went on vacation this past weekend. Nacho visited his friends at Petsmart and Niner and I went to our third Spring Training in Phoenix. Our first game on Saturday was against the Indians at Goodyear Ballpark. There was a lot of action near the end when the Indians caught up and tied the game. There was a Mister Softee soft serve truck and Niner tried a Guinness Blondie at the beer cart. That is a nice ballpark and we had a cute time. I even got Ethier's autograph on our Cactus League ball.    We had time for a nice hike and dinner after the game. Niner introduced me to Native American fry bread which was delicious. Sunday we started off with a nice brunch at Province downtown. The game was at the Dodgers' (and white Sox) Camelback Ranch. It was a hot, sunny day, but fun nevertheless. It was lovely to get away for the weekend and we did so much! Can't wait for baseball season to start! We got a mini season plan t...

Memorial Day

At the Memorial Day Dodgers game with my love to end a lovely calm weekend. Thanks to those who have served and sacrificed for us, especially my Niner. <3

La Banquise, Montreal

La Banquise Rating: πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ πŸ“994 Rue Rachel E MontrΓ©al, QC H2J 2J3 Canada πŸ“ž  (514) 525-2415 Visit: May 6, 2018 Poutine is pretty much anywhere and everywhere in Montreal. Sometimes when you have too many options, it becomes difficult to make decisions (at least that's how it works with me). We chose this place because of the amount of reviews on Yelp.. and it was only A-OK. However, that may be our fault for ordering the "plainer" option. The grand size of "Taquise" seemed like the perfect choice for us. It was topped with tomatoes, guacamole, and sour cream. We probably should have ordered something with lots of meat and gravy, something packed with flavor. But then, I can also argue that anything with guacamole should be amazing. So I give this place a 3/5 rating, but it is worth going back to, especially since they're open 24/7! Make sure you use your google translate and get in the correct line: dine in or take out. There's a line of peop...
