Easter Weekend

We almost did everything this past Easter weekend..
Friday night was BHC Dodger Night which usually means a mini band reunion.
And of course the Arnolds were present. It was also Ed's birthday.
Even got to see a little bit of Natalie too.

Saturday, we went to Brokechella and had a good little time.
We didn't listen to much of the music since we weren't there very long. There were a bunch of local bands. It was fun to just roam around and look at the art and eat from the food trucks.
Niner and I walking on interesting art.
Even got on the Brokechella hippy bus.

That evening we celebrated Ed and Mana's birthdays at the Arnold's home.

Sunday we were able to spend time with family. Had lunch at Osaka with my fam and then met Moo and BeanFace for dinner at Maggiano's.

Like I said, we almost saw everyone and did everything this weekend.

We are blessed. <3

Spring Training

My little family went on vacation this past weekend. Nacho visited his friends at Petsmart and Niner and I went to our third Spring Training in Phoenix. Our first game on Saturday was against the Indians at Goodyear Ballpark. There was a lot of action near the end when the Indians caught up and tied the game. There was a Mister Softee soft serve truck and Niner tried a Guinness Blondie at the beer cart. That is a nice ballpark and we had a cute time. I even got Ethier's autograph on our Cactus League ball.    We had time for a nice hike and dinner after the game. Niner introduced me to Native American fry bread which was delicious. Sunday we started off with a nice brunch at Province downtown. The game was at the Dodgers' (and white Sox) Camelback Ranch. It was a hot, sunny day, but fun nevertheless. It was lovely to get away for the weekend and we did so much! Can't wait for baseball season to start! We got a mini season plan t

Memorial Day

At the Memorial Day Dodgers game with my love to end a lovely calm weekend. Thanks to those who have served and sacrificed for us, especially my Niner. <3

50 in Five

We've been busy over here, planning our epic road trip to all 50 states. We are quitting our jobs, packing away our stuff, and leaving in just less than TWO weeks! It's the trip we've always dreamed of. It feels so right.  We asked my cousin at Lizzi Photography to take photos at our favorite local park to document this moment. It's so special because she knows me so well and knew my vision. Plus we've never had engagement photos done. We also used props we love and that have a story: a blanket Nan crocheted Niner, Auntie Cayo's cameras, my vintage suitcase called Bomanicious..      It was hard to choose, but here are some of my faves.    Unfortunately, Nacho will not be joining us on our trip. Lucky for us, Moo has agreed to keep him for the five months; and he will have the best time there with his friend Teddy. Still, he couldn't help but join in on the fun and take photos with us! We are at 50infive.us  if you want to
