The American Idiot musical is in LA this week. Niner and I took the train to Hollywood, grabbed a nice beverage at the W Hotel then went across the street to the Pantages to enjoy a show based on Green Day's album. I have to say that I wasn't too impressed with the story line and as Niner pointed out, the choreography was terrible. However, when you're with great company, listening to music you love, how can you not have a fun evening?!
My little family went on vacation this past weekend. Nacho visited his friends at Petsmart and Niner and I went to our third Spring Training in Phoenix. Our first game on Saturday was against the Indians at Goodyear Ballpark. There was a lot of action near the end when the Indians caught up and tied the game. There was a Mister Softee soft serve truck and Niner tried a Guinness Blondie at the beer cart. That is a nice ballpark and we had a cute time. I even got Ethier's autograph on our Cactus League ball. We had time for a nice hike and dinner after the game. Niner introduced me to Native American fry bread which was delicious. Sunday we started off with a nice brunch at Province downtown. The game was at the Dodgers' (and white Sox) Camelback Ranch. It was a hot, sunny day, but fun nevertheless.
