Niner's Birthday and Graduation

The day of Niner's graduation from Woodbury University was busy but tons of fun. We started early at the beautiful campus, had our complimentary continental breakfast and watched Niner receive a couple more awards before she walked across the stage for her diploma. Raha, Valerie and Pheap, Randy and Jen, and Ryan and Cheryl, and of course Moo, joined us at the ceremony to celebrate Niner's accomplishments. It was very special to have our friends be there.

The fun continued at home. In addition to the graduation festivities, we celebrated Niner's birthday with more friends and family. The Morales family came too, which was nice. We had a graduation Photo Wall, cupcakes, tea cakes, beer, lemonade, pizza and hotdogs, beary jello shots, and the tacos were amazing! Oh and we had a bouncy castle, complete with a slide, for a few hours.

Our favorite party yet to date. So grateful to have so many special people in our lives to share the special moments with. It was a long day and it was perfect!

Spring Training

My little family went on vacation this past weekend. Nacho visited his friends at Petsmart and Niner and I went to our third Spring Training in Phoenix. Our first game on Saturday was against the Indians at Goodyear Ballpark. There was a lot of action near the end when the Indians caught up and tied the game. There was a Mister Softee soft serve truck and Niner tried a Guinness Blondie at the beer cart. That is a nice ballpark and we had a cute time. I even got Ethier's autograph on our Cactus League ball.    We had time for a nice hike and dinner after the game. Niner introduced me to Native American fry bread which was delicious. Sunday we started off with a nice brunch at Province downtown. The game was at the Dodgers' (and white Sox) Camelback Ranch. It was a hot, sunny day, but fun nevertheless. It was lovely to get away for the weekend and we did so much! Can't wait for baseball season to start! We got a mini season plan t

Memorial Day

At the Memorial Day Dodgers game with my love to end a lovely calm weekend. Thanks to those who have served and sacrificed for us, especially my Niner. <3

50 in Five

We've been busy over here, planning our epic road trip to all 50 states. We are quitting our jobs, packing away our stuff, and leaving in just less than TWO weeks! It's the trip we've always dreamed of. It feels so right.  We asked my cousin at Lizzi Photography to take photos at our favorite local park to document this moment. It's so special because she knows me so well and knew my vision. Plus we've never had engagement photos done. We also used props we love and that have a story: a blanket Nan crocheted Niner, Auntie Cayo's cameras, my vintage suitcase called Bomanicious..      It was hard to choose, but here are some of my faves.    Unfortunately, Nacho will not be joining us on our trip. Lucky for us, Moo has agreed to keep him for the five months; and he will have the best time there with his friend Teddy. Still, he couldn't help but join in on the fun and take photos with us! We are at 50infive.us  if you want to
