We went to Portland over Columbus Day weekend to visit our sissy. We had a cute time as expected: we met her boyfriend Andy; ate at Higgins, the French restaurant he works at; hung out with Peppy and Andy's puppy, Polly; hiked; tried to visit the Goonies house; hung out at a brewery; had lots of beer; met the grumpy cat Isis; played pin ball; chased waterfalls; ate donuts; brunched; got rained on at stunning Cannon Beach. It was a packed weekend and Shkrinty drove her sisters around everywhere.
My little family went on vacation this past weekend. Nacho visited his friends at Petsmart and Niner and I went to our third Spring Training in Phoenix. Our first game on Saturday was against the Indians at Goodyear Ballpark. There was a lot of action near the end when the Indians caught up and tied the game. There was a Mister Softee soft serve truck and Niner tried a Guinness Blondie at the beer cart. That is a nice ballpark and we had a cute time. I even got Ethier's autograph on our Cactus League ball. We had time for a nice hike and dinner after the game. Niner introduced me to Native American fry bread which was delicious. Sunday we started off with a nice brunch at Province downtown. The game was at the Dodgers' (and white Sox) Camelback Ranch. It was a hot, sunny day, but fun nevertheless.
